Blue Green Protein Smoothie

Blue Green Protein Smoothie

2 scoops Sunwarrior Vanilla Protein Powder
1 tbs Vitamineral Green
1 tbs maca
12 oz hemp milk (water, or almond milk)
1/4 cup blueberries
handful of ice cubes

Blend and enjoy! 

Sunwarrior is my favorite vegan protein powder that I have tried so far.  It blows hemp protein away.  I also love Vitamineral Green for  an overall nutritional addition.  


  1. A few other people have recommended sunwarrior to me as well. How does it taste and how does it change the texture/consistency of the smoothie? I have some of the Jarrow Brown Rice Protein (vanilla) that I just got since Hemp Protein...well let's just say a 4T serving makes the smoothie strange. I really like that the Jarrow is a 1 T serving with 12 grams of protein. It was also only $16 for 40 servings :) Tell me about this one...!

  2. SW is 16g protein for 1 tbs, where hemp is 16g for 4T! I like the taste overall, but it does have stevia in it, so there's a little stevia taste- and if you're not into it, you may notice it. It blends super smooth and I think is less chalky than just using hemp milk in a smoothie. It sounds like you may have found a good deal. I like SW a lot, but I was scared that the RAW VEGAN marekting of it makes it $45 for 47 servings- kind of pricey. How you do like Jarrow?
